In a bizarre crossover event that breaks conventional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "An unusual encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden cult.

The adventure centers on "strange tests and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an unique katana together with multiple objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
